10am-4.30pm
Llanwenarth Hall, Abergavenny, NP7 7EN
Spend the day making a Christmas gift from scratch: not just the present, but the wrapping you give it in too. You’ll start with an organic cotton blank. You can choose from a tea towel, napkin set, small bag, tote bag or cushion cover which you turn it into something personal using natural dyes, including turmeric, madder, logwood or indigo.
Then you’ll make the wrapping to match by printing your own Christmas wrapping paper using block printing on recyclable blank paper, or you can naturally dye a cotton bag. The wrapping becomes part of the personalised gift itself.
No experience necessary, and all the materials are natural and reusable or recyclable. You’ll leave with a finished, personal gift and the means to wrap it beautifully, with nothing destined for the bin.
Indicate on the form what you would like to dye for your Christmas presents.
