





Join an evening Hapazome and/or Woad workshop

Come along to learn about different ways of dyeing and printing onto fabric during these long, warm, summer evenings. These workshops combine learning with creativity and you don’t need any experience to join in.
August 7th: Hapazome – you’ll use a hammer to print a variety of leaves and flowers onto some cotton fabric to take home with you.
August 14th: Woad – you’ll learn about the magic of the European blue dye, Woad, where you see the blue emerge only after you take the material out of the dye bath!
These are participatory, hands-on workshops where you’ll have a chance to learn by doing in a collaborative, fun atmosphere.
What you will need:rubber gloves and an apron
What you will take away: dyed cotton and silk
No experience necessary
